A Tribute to David Bowie and Alan Rickman

Hey, guys. So I didn’t get the chance to address this last week, but…it was a rough week, huh? We lost a rock icon and a legendary actor in one fell swoop–both Brits, both age 69, both to cancer. It’s uncanny, really, that we should lose two such well-known and well-loved individuals so close together and in such similar ways. Continue reading

A Wes Craven Tribute

Hey, guys. Per usual, I’m belated in addressing this very important subject, but I wanted to address it nonetheless because as a horror fan, this is a pretty big blow. As most of you already know, writer/director Wes Craven lost his battle with brain cancer on Sunday. Continue reading

Really, it shouldn’t have been a shock. The man was 93 years old. Even so, he just seemed like one of those staples of movies, you know? Continue reading

A Tribute to Leonard Nimoy

leonard nimoy

Hey, guys. I realize this is a super delayed reaction since he passed away on Friday, but I thought it only seemed right to do something on here in honor of the incomparable Mr. Leonard Nimoy. I’m ashamed to admit that I really haven’t seen him in much, but what I knew of him, I loved, and the world just doesn’t seem right without the original Mr. Spock. Continue reading
