Song and Screen: TV Edition
Hey there, guys! Been awhile since I had this feature around, huh? For the uninitiated, this is a little something I like to call Song and Screen. Normally, it’s when I pick out songs used in movies in such a memorable way that I can no longer think of the song without automatically thinking of the movie. Today, however, I’m switching things up and turning my attention to television. Continue reading
Song and Screen: Guardians of the Galaxy Edition
Well hello there! I’m back today with another edition of Song and Screen, but since today marks the DVD release of Guardians of the Galaxy (at least for the U.S.), I thought it would be nice to do a special S&S dedicated entirely to the music of this wonderful, ridiculously fun film. Because after I saw this, I went out and bought the CD specifically so I could jam to it in my car, and I don’t do that very much. Buy CDs, that is. I jam in my car way too much. Continue reading

Song and Screen, Pt. 5
Happy Hump Day, ladies and gents! Kind of slow going for reviews and such lately, but I’m constantly remembering songs I can’t hear without thinking of movies, so I thought, “Why not do another Song and Screen?” I can’t believe this is the fifth one I’ve done! Of course, with something like this I could probably do another 50 of them. Continue reading
Song and Screen, Pt. 4
That’s right–yet another edition of Song and Screen for your consideration and (hopefully) entertainment. I am just…addicted to these posts. Partly because they’re easy, but mostly because they’re fun. I do hope you guys aren’t getting sick of them though. If you are, please don’t hesitate to tell me. Hahaha. Anyway, on to business! Song and Screen, Pt. 3

Oh, I’m not done with dogs as guitars. Not by a long shot. But I found meerkat as microphone, and I just…had to.
Well, amigos, I’d hoped to have something else ready for today, but I need a little extra time for it. So I decided to pull together another edition of Song and Screen instead. If you’ve missed it so far, you can catch Pt. 1 here, Pt. 2 here, and Zoë’s edition here. Are you ready for another round of songs I can’t hear without thinking of movies? Yes? Then let’s do this! Continue reading
Song and Screen, Pt. 2
Hiya, friends! I hope you are having a very chill Sunday. I wanted to keep things pretty chill myself, which is why I’m doing another edition of Song and Screen! If you’re new around here, you can read the birth of this idea here, but basically it’s a pretty casual thing I do every now and then where I talk about songs that I can’t listen to without thinking of movies. Continue reading
