Okay, so maybe Adam Levine isn’t primarily known a TV or movie star, but c’mon…it’s Adam Levine. And this IS from the ever delightful Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, so it isn’t entirely irrelevant. 😉 In this lovely clip, Adam and Jimmy play a pretty awesome game that I would love to see Jimmy play with some other singers. The name of the game is Wheel of Musical Impressions. With the push of a button, a random song and a random singer pop up, and the player must sing the song like that singer. Watch and enjoy.
P.S. Happy Thursday, everyone! I won’t be around tomorrow, but look over for a very important reblog on Sunday!
I’m not impressed.
I think you lack the capacity to be impressed anymore. You’ve seen it all, bro.
His Eddie Vedder is spot on.
agreed, especially the octave jump!
I’ll take your word for it. I…I may have had to Google Eddie Vedder. I don’t really listen to Pearl Jam…*slowly, uncertainly backs out of room*
He did the soundtrack for Into the Wild. You may recognize those tunes.
They need to get you on that show 🙂 🙂 🙂
Pssshhh. To do what?! Lol.
Only: TO BE FUCKING AWESOME!!
Fallon always does a great Bob Dylan voice! Love it.
Does he frequently do Bob Dylan impressions?! I think this is the first time I’ve heard him do it, but yeah it’s awesome!
Awesome loved it Cara! I am laughing at my desk at work right now.
HA! Score! 😀
The Muffin Man cracked me up.
It’s just all glorious. I really hope Jimmy does this again.
Have you heard of a band called Reel Big Fish? In their live shows they always take one song and do it in several different styles. I’ve seen them live and it’s a total highlight.
No, this is the first I’m hearing of them! I’ll have to check them out!
