Hi, guys! So I’m being lazy today and posting another video, but this is actually something I’ve been anticipating for some time–a trailer for Fox’s upcoming crime drama Gotham, which will follow Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) prior to becoming commissioner of Gotham City (Batman’s domain). I have really high hopes for this one, and I’d love to see DC with another TV hit on its hands (because The CW’s Arrow is freaking amazing).
Along with Gordon’s beginnings, we’ll get to see young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) right after his parents’ death with loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) at his side, and we’ll get origin stories for some of Batman’s best villains, including Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin (Robin Taylor), Edward Nygma aka The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), and Selina Kyle aka Catwoman (Camren Bicondova). Seriously!! Arrow has been blowing me away this season. I can’t believe the finale is already next week!
It’s been excellent! I think we’ve still got three more to go – so glad we’re getting a third season!
Unfortunately, IMDb only says two left.
But I wish there were three!!! Lol. It’s going to be a looooong wait for season three…
I meant us lucky folks across the pond. 😛 For once, getting a show late pays dividends, ha!

I dont like Arrow and couldn’t get into it. (stopped watching after 2 eps I think).
I was a big fan of Smallville and found Arrow disappointing and too soap operaee.
I’m a HUGE Batman fan, so this will be on my watchlist next fall for sure!

You gave up on Arrow after two episodes?! You need to give it more of a chance than that! It gets particularly good toward the end of the season, and season two has been completely awesome. Glad you’re excited about this one though. I have high hopes for Gotham! 🙂

I like the overall look, but I am not liking the young characters. Feels like a tease that will never end 😦
You kidding?! I think lil Catwoman looks kickass! And I’m very interested to see how The Riddler is going to work in–I think he’s working with the police or something? Plus, I’ve always wanted to see more of Gordon, so I think following things from his perspective ought to be really interesting. I’m psyched!
Well am glad your happy. I think the show in general looks good but those kids are making me a little worried about the show.
Well it’s not really going to focus on them though, right? I get the impression that they’ll be secondary characters. But who knows, I guess. Lol.

LOL. He was on The OC, wasn’t he? Honestly, I totally forgot about that because I never watched that show. We’ll see how he does–I’m keeping the faith. And yeah I like the look of The Penguin! Here’s hoping they all deliver!
Yeah he was. I tried watching it the other day and it just irritated me. Maybe some other time. Keeping faith too but Oldman is the only Gordon in my eyes… Yea, I am that fickle. Crossing fingers, cause if this is done right it’s gonna rock my socks. Loved Bruce’s reaction to his parents being shot down. I know it sounds awful but that kid did it well.
No I feel you. Oldman is going to be hard to equal, let alone top. Yeah I love the kids they’ve picked for young Bruce and Selina! I’m wondering how big a role they’re going to play.
Yeah sheesh, he blew me away. Hmmmm, suppose we will have to wait and see. I hope it’s good, I really do.

I am looking forward to this! DC usually does a great job with television shows. I loved Smallville, and Arrow is one of the best shows on TV. Gotham looks like it’s going to be incredible.
Yeah I agree! Arrow blew me away this season. If Gotham manages to be even half that awesome, I’d say it’s a success. 🙂
