So my apologies for any blog neglecting/delayed responses over the weekend—I forgot to mention that I’d be out of town. But, GUYS…something WONDERFUL happened while I was away. I saw a brand-spanking new movie, and I really liked it! What a lovely way to finish out a very lackluster movie month!

Top Ten Film Moments That Haunt Me: Silver Screen Serenade
So, as usual, Zoe has been up to awesome things over at The Sporadic Chronicles of a Beginner Blogger. Right now she’s been posting really fun movie-themed top ten lists, and when she sent out requests, I couldn’t pass up the chance to write one. My list? Top Ten Film Moments That Haunt Me. Go check it out–if you dare… 😉
So Cara from Silver Screen Serenade went with something slightly different for her top ten list today. Cara has an awesome blog that features a whole lot of stuff and a really cool review layout, and hosted the Resolutions 2014 blogathon earlier this year which was a cool thing to get involved in and get up, be productive and watch those movies you have been putting off for such a long time! Also, she is the winner of Shitfest: Winter (2014)! Definitely worth looking into and a lot of fun, I now move over to give you Cara’s top ten!
Should you be interested in submitting a Top Ten list, draw up a list of either your top ten personal favourite movies or a top ten list by a specific genre/theme and send it along to me at sporadiczoe@hotmail.com. Hope to see a few more lists!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHITFEST CHAMPION: WHEN CARA MET MIGUEL
Want to know what the life of a Shitfest champion is like? Here’s what my favorite little trophy and I have been up to since winning.
Schuster Sister Shenanigans: Stars Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
My sister and I had so much fun texting about Star Wars last time that we HAD to make it happen again. We started with Episode IV: A New Hope, so it’s only natural that we keep going with Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. For your reading enjoyment, I give you another installment of our movie-watching shenanigans.
Duets: Rush and Dallas Buyers Club
Since my first Duets post got a pretty positive response, I’ve decided to give it another whirl! Slightly different parameters this time though: instead of restricting myself to reviewing two films still in theaters, I’ve decided to open it up to new (or at least somewhat new) DVD releases. Continue reading
“Let It Go” Performed by ALL OF DISNEY
Hey, guys! Just a bit of fun for your Friday. There’s a good chance many of you have seen this already, but in honor of this week’s Frozen DVD release, I present to you a cover of “Let It Go” sung by one dude voicing A MILLION DISNEY CHARACTERS. Continue reading
August: Osage County: crazy plot, stellar cast
Is it just me or has there been a bit of a dry spell in the world of new movies lately? Lots of things to look forward to in April/May, but March has been very “meh.” That’s probably why I found myself at the cheap theater this weekend. Continue reading
Schuster Sister Shenanigans: Stars Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Hey, kiddos! So I know I promised a review of a new movie today, but…well, I got a little sidetracked. What began yesterday as a conversation about taupe bed sheets, of all things (long story), rapidly evolved into what I hope to become a regular feature on this blog Continue reading
Just a reminder…
Hey, guys! Hope to have a new review up tomorrow for you lot, but in the meantime I just wanted to take a minute to remind you that the April Fools blog series I’m planning for next month is STILL ON, and I would very much like those write-ups by next Monday (the 31st). Continue reading

THE FIRST EVER SHITFEST SOCIAL!!! THE SECRET VILLAGE (2013)
This might be a kind of “you had to be there” type thing, but today The IPC threw a “social,” and across the globe a few dedicated souls gathered ’round their TVs or computer screens at the same time and watched a little film called The Secret Village. It was dreadful, but the live comments were pretty funny. Check it out.
