Hello there!
Welcome, old friends and new, to my first attempt at this blogging business! As a writer who has suddenly found herself with some spare time on her hands, I’ve decided to start a blog about two things I know and love with all my heart: movies and television.
While movies may be expensive and television may be a lot less productive than than job hunting or working out (don’t judge me), I firmly believe that there are few things better in this world than settling down in a comfy spot and losing yourself in somebody else’s world for a while. That said, certain movies/TV shows definitely form that world better than others.
Humble though they are, I’m here to offer up my opinions on movies and TV shows from the past, present, and maybe even a thought or two on what’s coming up in the near future. It is my sincere hope that you enjoy reading my blog and that you come away from it not only with a little bit of knowledge, but with a willingness to check out something that you might have shied away from before. And if not, well…I tried!
As I said, this is my first grapple with blogging, so forgive me if I mispost/if my blog looks tacky/if I can’t find a better header picture (seriously, how do I get away from these default choices and upload my own?), etc. My first posts are going to address some of this summer’s blockbusters, so check back regularly for new reviews!
